Faculty Position in Finance
Department of Finance, National Central University
POSITION: One full-time, tenure-track faculty position at any level: Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, effective August 1, 2021. All areas of specialization in finance will be considered.
QUALIFICATIONS: we are seeking candidates with backgrounds in finance, economics or related disciplines who are capable of conducting high quality research. A commitment to excellent teaching in finance is also required. Teaching can be conducted in either English or Chinese. Applicants must have a Ph.D. from an accredited institution and have an outstanding potential or research record.
THE PROGRAM: The institute offers undergraduate, master, and doctoral programs and is known for its outstanding research support. Faculty can access major financial databases including CRSP, Compustat, SDC, Datastream, IBES, TAQ, as well as local financial and economic data via TEJ. NCU’s finance department is ranked the 20th among 170 institutes in Asia-Pacific, and the second in Taiwan according to a ranking article published in Pacific-Basin Finance Journal (2011). REMUNERATION: We offer an additional monthly remuneration ranging TWD $20,000 - $40,000 for up to 3 years maximum.
